Here are some holiday shopping happenings in the region:• Winter Wonderland is an event being held from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the Northside Lofts condominium complex at 21 Furnace St. in Akron’s Northside District, off Howard Street. Lauren Ward will move her Noto women’s clothes boutique to an unleased retail space at the Northside Lofts condominiums. The evening also will include live piano music, refreshments and a visit from Santa. Normally, the Noto boutique can be found at 51 E. Market Street (next to Musica).• Highland Square’s new and resale clothing boutique and gift shop, Revival, is offering a 12 days of Christmas sale through Dec. 12. Each day will feature discounts on specific branded items. The store is at 822 W. Market Street.• The Southside Flea Market, in the old Cheton’s furniture store at 2262 S. Arlington Road in Coventry Township, will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week through Dec. 11. Traditionally, the flea market is a Friday/Saturday/Sunday operation. The more than 50 vendors include merchants selling toys, electronics, purses, books and other items. Ecco Lights, an Akron candle company making its retail home at the flea market, has more than 200 scents in its candle lineup. Jennie Morrison and Jim Lepara opened the flea market in 2008.• Merchants in Hudson are teaming up for the Hudson Holiday Walk that will run from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Live reindeer will visit the First & Main Green, and a live nativity will be on the Clocktower Green. Free horse-drawn carriage rides will be available. Carolers will sing holiday tunes and Frosty the Snowman and the Gingerbread Man will visit. Santa will visit the Wild Bird Center in the Acme Plaza from 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. and at Prudential/Kathy Reid Realty at 205 N. Main St. from 3:15 to 6 p.m.Compiled by Katie Byard
